So much has happened since i first created this site in early 1998 and the prospect of trading music via the internet was just a dream that some of us had. Our early attempts to create mp3's from analog recordings makes me realize that I really did not see how big this was going to get.
Sugarmegs www.sugarmegs.org The first site I came across with live shows for the stream and download Etree www.etree.org, which established a set of standards and formats for the trading of live shows. Furthur www.furthurnet.org, brought the high quality audio to everyone via a peer to peer client like Napster, or Limewire Look for good things to come here and keep on keeping on... pt |
